Some Pics

So here are some of those pics Claire eluded to before.

The "condo" we stayed it. Very swish. Although, when you're on a skiing holiday, a place to put your head and tired knees (man, not unstraining on those joints) it doesn't really matter. Having a little satellite TV wasn't unwelcome though.

The general surrounds (of Cypress hills). It gets a little more "pine-tree-y" closer to the ski slopes though.Cypress Hills

The main lift and orderly queue (line-up if you are local)

SnowBoarding Bits and Bobs. Yes, people just leave there hugely expensive stuff just leaning against the poles while they eat lunch, go to the loo, etc. In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they just left it here overnight.

A teenie tiny. This is his SECOND year skiing. We know this because we rode the lift with him and his dad. He asked us if we believe in God. Cute, no?
And now, for your general viewing pleasure, some other random shots of random stuff.

Ice. I think its hoar frost, although it just looks mad and crazy and cool. Its like glass and paper.
A fence. And some more frost.

I just loved the whimsy and colour.

Black and white trees. This is in Cypress Hills too, actually.

This is what formed on our window overnight. Its actually the outside pane of a double-glazed window, so about 1 minute after taking this shot the whole beautiful thing had become water droplets again. Talk about fleeting beauty.
Birds on a ... well, there might be a wire taped to the top of the wall. You don't know!

That is all.

Nice pics as usual!
Had a good chuckle at the T-bar experience! I wonder how the really large people deal with it?

And seeing as you had a great pic of some birds on a .... yes there could have been a wire there, I'll add that you might have been wearing your famous blue raincoat.

Can you guess who I'm alluding to?

Take care and I'll speak to you soon!

Matt.
